Smart Property Services is a small family run business which opened in February 2022. Smart Property Services specialises in landscaping, garden and property maintenance.
The services provided include landscaping, lawn mowing for residential, commercial and acreage properties, hedging, pressure washing, gardening, garden makeovers, gutter cleaning, end of lease property cleans and laying of mulch, pebbles and more.
When Smart Property Services first opened Mitch was the only man out completing the jobs, whilst Mallory was in charge of all admin aspects.
As the business grew, we were able to start hiring offsiders to help with the growing workload. Kristen was our first employee who thrived in the gardens, having a great eye for detail.
Cameron was next, who worked alongside Mitch every day. He had an array of skills from hedging, to lawn mowing and much more. Sadly, Cameron made a sea change and moved to the Sunshine state with his family. He was a great part of the team and we were sad to see him leave.
Dylan is currently working alongside Mitch and he is a qualified landscaper with almost 10 years’ experience. Dylan’s skills and expertise has allowed Smart Property Services to move into the landscaping sector. He brings great knowledge and proficiency to the team in all areas of his work. Dylan is very approachable and has excellent communication skills with everyone he interacts with.
Smart Property Services always endeavour to provide top quality services with an eye for detail and great communication to existing, past and future clientele. When meeting prospective clients or regular clients on a day-to-day basis the team always dresses in uniform to show they are professional and that they take pride in the way they present themselves.
Once a job is completed the team always asks for the client’s feedback during a walk around, or if they are not home, they ask them to assess the work completed to make sure they are happy. If there is anything that is ever missed, we always make sure to go back and fix the problem, so the client is happy with the work completed.
We understand that everyone has different standards and sometimes when communicating things can get misunderstood so that is why we always make sure we get feedback on the job completed.
Since opening Smart Property Services both Mitch and Mallory are 100% committed to seeing the business succeed.
When we first opened Mitch was working two jobs to make sure we had enough regular business to support our growing family before solely relying on our small business for income. This meant long hours and working 7 days a week, but he made this sacrifice to get Smart Property Services where it is today. Mallory completes all of the admin for Smart Property Services as well as being a mum to 3 small children. She is currently on maternity leave from her Teaching career. Being a small run family business, the success of the business is imperative as Smart Property Services is our family’s main source of income.
We feel very lucky to have had so much success in the first three and a half years of opening. We worked really hard and did long hours to get the business up and off the ground, however now we are more established we are able to have an amazing work life balance and are able to spend time with our small children to watch them blossom and grow.
